Warcraft Version Switcher is a program developed by Ugge which allows users to switch WC3 versions. It now includes 7 pre-saved versions. 1.20e, 1.21, 1.22, 1.23, 1.24, 1.24b and 1.24c. Gamers prefer to switch mainly because of the compatibility issues of patches in WC3.

Configuration
Before doing anything else, make sure you configure properly your Warcraft III path under the WVS options menu. By the default installation method, the location of your Warcraft III folder can be found at"C:\Progarm Files\Warcraft III" directory.

This includes 2 pre-saved versions. 1.23 and 1.24. The previous patches were not included on this package because those are already outdated and not safe to use for gaming purposes because of the issues in cheating particularly in DOTA maps. 1.24 package also contains DOTA v6.61c in "Map/Download" which is compatible for 1.24 patch and beyond.
